The Recycled Bottle Glass Centre Limited works in partnership with schools to promote the message of recycling and environmental sustainability. It does this through involving the children directly in commissions awarded by the individual school.
The children work to a common theme around recycling or the environment and produce designs and ideas about how they see it. A workshop is held at the school demonstrating how the stained glass panel is made, how the glass used in the panel has been made using an exclusive process and the benefits to the environment of using that process over existing methods of recycling.
